Lovely shading on the crystal shard, and I like the shale effect in the background. Did you do all that stuff by hand? It looks too organic to be a filter, or else a very artfully done combination of filters.

@Guy: Thanks for the flowers, but I am afraid you misinterpreted the picture. This is Floon's right eye with his two 'thids reflected in it. I was sure it was pretty simple to see, but now that you write about reflections in shards... lol.
The "Shalre" Effect is his age-ravaged, rubbery skin. I did indeed do that by hand, however the base texture of the skin was a pattern that I somewhat smeared and warped a bit to make it fit.
